Pakistan and Sri Lanka will jointly host the 16th edition of the Asia Cup 2023, consisting of One-Day Internationals (ODIs). Six teams will compete in this tournament. It is scheduled to take place between August and September 2023. The title-holders are Sri Lanka. It will be the first time that multiple nations will co-host the Asia Cup; four matches will be played in Pakistan, and the remaining nine games will be played in Sri Lanka.

Participating Teams and Tournament Structure

The tournament will feature the participation of the five full members of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC): Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. Nepal, who qualified for the first time by winning the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup, will join these nations. The teams have been divided into two groups of three for the tournament’s opening stage.
