In order for you to join a Zoom meeting, the host must first set up the meeting. The attendees can join the session once the host has started it. Alternatively, the host can enable a feature that permits users to attend the meeting before the host arrives, but the meeting must still be scheduled ahead of time.

Make use of the Zoom App

If you already have Zoom installed on your device, you can attend a meeting using a meeting ID or personal link name provided by the host. When you first open Zoom, you’ll be asked to sign in. You can sign in with SSO, Google, or Facebook by entering your email and password and then selecting “Sign In.”

Selecting Google or Facebook will take you to the sign-in page for that service. If you want to use SSO, you’ll need to know the corporate URL, which is often companyname>. zoom.us. You’ll be on the Zoom app’s main page after the sign-in procedure is complete, regardless of the method you used. Choose “Join” from the drop-down menu.

There will be a new window open. Enter the meeting ID that was supplied to you when you received the invitation via email in the first field. If you know the name of the personal connection, you can enter it instead.

Enter your display name below that, choose whether you want to join the meeting with audio and video, and then click the “Join” button. You’ve arrived at the meeting.

Use the Email Address

When a host sends you an invitation, you’ll get an email notification. The “Join Zoom Meeting” link is the first link in the message. Please click on the link. You’ll be taken to the Zoom meeting once you’ve been chosen.

Make use of the Zoom website

If you’re attending a meeting with another company, they must have created a Zoom company URL. This is usually referred to as companyname>. Zoom.us, but double-check with the host.

Go to the company’s URL in your preferred browser after you have it. Although each company’s landing page will differ, the options accessible will be mostly the same.

You must now enter the meeting ID or personal link name that you should have received from the meeting host. Select “Join” when you’ve done that. You’ll now be a part of the meeting.
